a poem by Matthew J. Beard
Just a GOP
On American society.
You hate it.
But you created it and you keep on adding to it.
The static you claim to hear
From the airwaves you
Put a sticker on and
Try to regulate
Every time a scandal hits
And corruption is brought again
We dissend from the mold
From the mold we've broken
Festering from the inside
Peeling off the womb of hazy dead flesh you've created
You created us, your bastard child
If you say you have us under foot,
Then why do we keep walking all over you?
Every time corruption hits.
