I'm not a phoney right-winger either, because the left-right paradigm is phoney and is used by those in power to control us and blind us from our potential.Ms. Florence Chessin, government regulation made the financial crisis worse. We haven't had a free market since before 1913, the year The Federal Reserve started counterfeiting our money and dictating interest rates to the market. It was once free and backed by gold. What a tragic confusion to say Wall Street and a "Free Market" caused this recession. I don't recall the market ever propping up toxic mortgages and allowing the banks to loot the marketplace. Then the government saddles us with the debt!!! Yeah for Big Government, eh? The federal government and the Federal Reserve did the banker bailout. End the Federal Reserve and less government so we can have a healthy market backed by hard assets and not IOUs. That's not anarchism, it's the Constitution. Mr. Frank Metully, Obama is no better than Bush. And thank President Johnson for the deaths of thousands in Vietnam, Loas, and Cambodia. Obama expanded the "war" into Yemen, continues the stealth bombing of Pakistan, and keeps troops in Iraq after saying we were leaving. Secret arrests and torture continue and the war drums beat against Iran. Thank Obama and Roosevelt all you want for being the puppets of international bankers, propping up toxic assets that should have been replaced by entrepreneurs. Meanwhile corporations and government take over the marketplace… Mussolini called that FASCISM. Playing the left-right paradigm will see another depression as the criminal offshore bankers bring us closer to One World Government, using Big Government as a conduit to your pocketbooks. After all, they created the crisis with fixed interest rates and easy credit for all! The Constitution has been ignored and must be restored! The article above is a response to these Letters to the Editor of the Missoulian Newspaper in Missoula, MT:I am so proud of President Barack Obama for going after the Supreme Court for its terrible ruling regarding campaign financing. These are the same five judges who allowed George W. Bush to be president even though he did not get a majority of votes that is normally needed. This gave us probably the worst president in our history. Clearly the dumbest one, also. It is my belief that Obama will be right up there with the two greatest presidents in my lifetime. This would be Franklin Delano Roosevelt for leading us out of our Great Depression and pushing though our Social Security system. That is why he was elected four times over the “Party of No.” Lyndon Johnson was responsible for getting us into our Medicare system and also major civil rights legislation that was long overdue. Again, having to get it done without the help of the same right-wing no-sayers. Obama will get a much-needed health care plan in place and has already brought us back from the brink total financial disaster. It is great to have someone so bright, capable and personable as our president. It is easy to see why he was elected by such a large landslide.
