This is sort of the same thing with Catholic priests when they molest kids, when an everyday pedophile molests a child that is VERY BAD and they should be punished but catholic priests since they are abusing their position should be punished to a higher degree. Back to the police officer story those police officers probably just got a slap on the wrist or VERY LITTLE done to them, but what should be done If we had an honest government is complete suspension of their job coupled with at least a couple years in prison. This would also set an example of how other cops should treat the tax payers that are paying their salaries and whom they are supposed to be working for as peace officers keeping the peace instead of beating people without an exceptionally good reason like self defense.
