Matthew J. Beard - the Filmmaker

Matthew J. Beard was born and raised in Montana where he currently lives. Beard graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts in the spring of 2008 and is currently working on a full length feature tentatively named, "Dreams of Liberty" about the Ron Paul Revolution and to expose the New World Order. He draws from and is influenced by Alex Jones, Ken Burns, Peter Joseph, Ron Paul, G. Edward Griffin, and more. Beard produced The Cost of a Coke, The Cost of a Coke 2nd Edition, and We Want to be Sweat Free all while going to college at the University of Montana's Media Arts program. His first two versions of The Cost of a Coke were done at his apartment where he is currently in post production with a couple friends on the new Justice Productions film. The Cost of a Coke Revisited was recently finished in January of 2010 after Beard traveled to New York City for an internship with Ark Media, Insignia Films, and other production houses for the "Faces of America" 2010 PBS series. The Cost of a Coke Revisited will be airing on Free Speech TV on dish Network soon. He loves traveling, writing poetry, listening to punk, metal (mostly The Sword, Megadeth, and Otep these days), playing bass guitar, a dark beer or two (or maybe more), smoking a great cigar, hunting, his family and lots of other things.
